TIME ZONES was built across Los Angeles and France, with nine hours between the beat and the booth.
The limited 12" vinyl brings together NYC-born, Los Angeles-based independent artist Forsyth and France-based producer DJ Jean Maron for a stripped-down hip-hop record rooted in sharp writing, classic drums, and transatlantic collaboration. The album features Fat Joe, Redman, Dave East, M-Dot, Prop Dylan, and Alyssa Jane.
At the center of the project is “C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Ruins Everything Around Me),” which reinterprets the familiar acronym by changing the R from “Rules” to “Ruins.” The vinyl also includes “Count On That” with Dave East, two bonus cuts, and a live version recorded with Forsyth’s band.
Only 100 individually numbered copies were pressed worldwide, and just 16 remain.
